The mint set comprises the Romanian coins in circulation of 1 ban, 5 bani, 10 bani and 50 bani as well as a proof-like silver medal which has the following technical characteristics: Fineness 800‰, Diameter 28 mm, Weight 15.5 g and flat edge. Description of the medal - Obverse: a group of Romanian forty-eighters carrying the Tricolour and the inscription “175 DE ANI DE LA ADOPTAREA TRICOLORULUI”. - Reverse: a fragment of the painting entitled “România revoluționară” (Revolutionary Romania) and the inscriptions “ROMANIA REVOLUTIONARA” and “1848”.
