Today, February 12, 2009, a delegation led by Mr. Josef Pröll, Austrian Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Finance, met at their request with Mugur Isarescu, Governor of the National Bank of Romania and members of the NBR's Executive Board, as part of a regular series of exchanges of views and mutual consultations.
Talks during the meeting focused on Romania and Austria's macroeconomic outlook as well as on the perspective of capital flows in the context of the global economic downturn and of the ongoing crisis in international financial markets.
