Press Release: The temporary exhibition „Romania and European Union – 15 years together”

The National Bank of Romania organizes, between December 14, 2022 and March 31, 2023, within the BNR Museum, the temporary exhibition "Romania and European Union - 15 years together", with the support of the Embassies of the European Union member states in Romania.
The exhibition concept offers visitors a journey through all the member states of the European Union, via the symbolic items on display, which reflect the diversity and cohesion of the European Union.
At the same time, visitors can admire the national coins and banknotes of the European Union states, which are in the BNR's heritage. Completely new is the exhibition, for the first time in Romania, of jubilee euro coins belonging to a private collection.
The inauguration took place today, December 14, 2022, at the National Bank of Romania, in the presence of the Ambassadors of the European Union member states in Romania, the Head of the European Commission’s Representation in Romania, and the Board of the National Bank of Romania.
The exhibition at the National Bank of Romania can be visited during the free guided tours that the BNR Museum organizes from Monday to Friday, following a prior appointment.
