Main purpose
Determining the FDI stock in Romania at the end of the reference period and the FDI flows during the reference period in resident foreign direct investment enterprises. Direct investment abroad (DIA) by resident enterprises is also determined.
Methodology
The FDI statistical survey is performed quarterly on a representative sample of companies with foreign participation. The sample is updated on an annual basis. The frequency of DIA determination is annual.
