The report presents the borrowers (individuals identified by personal identification code) reported by the reporting institutions (credit institutions and non-bank financial institutions registered with the NBR Special Register), according to Regulation No. 2 of 9 January 2012 on the organisation and functioning of the Central Credit Register operated by the National Bank of Romania, as subsequently amended. It refers to the exposure of a reporting institution to a borrower equal to or greater than RON 20 000. The report includes only the loans granted; commitments assumed by the reporting institutions (such as letters of guarantee) are not included.

** Real estate collateral includes residential buildings, commercial buildings, land and other real estate mortgages.
